Travel

If you read my blog on any regular basis, you know I love to travel. New York is a frequent destination, because it’s quick and easy to get there from Washington DC. San Francisco is another regular spot – I fell in love with it the first time I went when I was a teenager, accompanying my mom on a business trip, and I try to get back out there at least every other year, not to mention the six months I lived there (LONG story…). But I don’t confine myself to just local or regional attractions – I’ve been to 15 countries and over half the states in my time so far. Belize, Puerto Rico, Spain (x4), Italy (x2), France (x2), England (x4), Wales, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Belgium, and the Netherlands round out the list. States? I’ve been to every state on the East Coast, except Maine. I’ve driven across the country from Washington DC to San Francisco, through Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, and California. Arizona and New Mexico have felt the tread of my feet. I’ve been to New Orleans, Louisiana as well, another great city I need to get back to and visit again. Michigan was a destination in 2013, and I’ve driven from Detroit in the lower corner to Petoskey and Mackinaw City at the northernmost tip of the Lower Peninsula.

As I build out additional pages for the places I’ve been, I’ll add the links to this page, and you can find them as well in the drop-down from the links above.
